Semi-annual e-mailing news that you shouldn’t miss

Stay up to date and read what happened in the world of email marketing in the first half of 2023. We bring you a summary of interesting improvements that you can now find in selected emailing tools.

Ecomail meets the needs of e-shoppers

If you run an e-shop on one of the currently fastest growing platforms Upgates, you will be pleased to know that it is now connected to the Ecomail tool . You can therefore say goodbye to manually uploading contacts, which is now done automatically and in real time. The same applies to the transfer of historical orders or discount coupons. These and other functions will make it easier for you to segment and target your campaigns.

However , e-shoppers from Webareal and Prestashop can also start e-mailing on Ecomail relatively easily and quickly . Thanks to the connection, you can now fully use the data from your e-shop to create newsletters or mint database automated campaigns.

We also have good news for existing users : the new look of the Account Management environment . Check out its revised look, two additional sections, and a number of new features, including:

  • the ability to add more detailed information about clients,
  • change your agency profile picture or bar color,
  • easier verification of the sending and tracking domain,
  • clearer search for plugins for e-shop and CRM solutions,
  • a For Developers section where you can easily refer yours.

An unwelcome guest has appeared in Leadhub

Shoptet users working with Leadhub may have already noticed the new opt-out checkbox . This “I do not wish to receive newsletters” box in the tool was added in response to the modification of the method for granting (dis)consent to sending united kingdom data commercial communications from Shoptet.

If your customer checks this option, the tool will not add them to any of your subscriber lists. At the same time, it will automatically log them out the power of the call to action: formulas and examples wherever they were previously logged in. Are you worried about how this will affect your database? It seems that it will not affect your database in any significant way. According to a survey by Leadhub itself, only 20-25% of people will give their consent on average.

At this year’s Reshoper trade fair, SmartEmailing also introduced a new service . This is an RFM analysis that their email specialists will perform for you. RFM analysis is a way to segment customers based on their purchasing behavior. It will help you identify those who earn the most for you and tell you how to improve campaign targeting and reduce costs. Read how you can increase profits thanks to RFM analysis.
